This project will eventually involve creating three styles each of the thirteen spherical Catalan solids decorated on the sphere.

This pair of nested tables was created for Gathering 4 Gardner 9. One table exhibits that four tiles in the shapes of Ls can be used to tile a larger L, whereas the other table exhibits that nine tiles in the shape of Ls can be used to tile a larger L. Sol Goloumb introduced the term rep-tiles for shapes that could tile themselves. These were popularized by Martin Gardner in his May 1963 Scientific American column.
